In just over a decade, the firm has established a strong reputation for deep sector expertise and a rigorous, execution-driven approach to transactions. We have achieved this by supporting primarily UK-based investment managers, alongside international capital, in the acquisition and development of data center and real estate assets across the UK and continental Europe.
Our client base includes a number of the most prominent and sophisticated investors in the industry.
Ernst ter Meulen
Data Centers & Real Estate
Ernst loves the outdoors. He is a skilled sailor, keen tennis player and a fervent skier.
Ernst is responsible for the growth and strategic direction of AC Niellsen, as well as looking after some of the company’s more significant projects.
He lived and worked in the US for more than a decade before returning to the Netherlands in the late 1980s and starting a residential estate agency, later moving into property investment advisory and investing on his own account in retail, logistics and office investments.
As an entrepreneur at heart, Ernst is always full of ideas and determined to close every deal. He believes that keeping things simple and never giving up is the secret to building long lasting relationships and managing successful investments.

Junior Volmer
Real Estate & Data Centers
Rudi Jr., widely known as Junior, spent over three years on the road as a successful DJ, captivating thousands of revellers across Europe.
Transitioning to real estate, he acquired extensive expertise in commercial properties by managing a portfolio for a private Dutch investor. Currently, Junior collaborates with Ernst on all datacenter transactions and provides advisory services for commercial real estate development.
In his free time, Junior enjoys DJ'ing, cooking, or relaxing with friends on one of the many great terraces along the Amsterdam canals.

Frank de Frémery
Data Centers
Frank is not a man who enjoys sitting still. When he’s not exploring remote areas of the world with his family, he’s playing various sports including tennis, running, skiing and kickboxing.
He began his career at AT&T-Unisource before moving to Global Crossing in the USA, then to Linxtelecom in Eastern Europe. He later drew on his hard-earned experience in data centers and telecoms to set up his own consultancy firm. Then, having overseen the building of a Tier-4 data center facility in Curaçao in the Dutch Caribbean, he returned to the Netherlands to head up AC Niellsen Data Centers.
Frank is results-driven leader whose extensive knowledge of data centers and telecom is enhanced by his international experience and outlook. A side-benefit of this work is his encyclopaedic knowledge of international dialling codes!
